Cedric and Samantha Patterson
They are a husband and wife team who started shooting professionally
after being disappointed with the value of their own wedding photography.
They thought they could do a lot better for a lot less than the price they
were charged. They bought equipment, paid for classes, shadowed other
photographers at weddings, then they dove in head first. It has been a
learning process, but the more they do what they do, the more they love
what they do.
Samantha is a Pre-school teacher, with a strong educational background in
Early Childhood Development. She is a 1998 graduate of Judson High
School, and the oldest of six children (4 sisters, 26, 21, 18, and 17; and 1
brother 22). As a former Bride, she brings a special point of view to the
team, as she often sees photography and service through the eyes of the
bride. She loves capturing subtle images that might have otherwise gone
unnoticed or forgotten.
Cedric is a Federal Firefighter, with a Bachelor of Science/Cum Laude
Degree in Management. He is a 1995 graduate of Willowridge High School
in Houston, TX, and a die-hard Rockets, Texans, and Astros fan. Cedric is
the oldest of three children (Two sisters, 26 and 20). After graduating High
School, he served 4 years in the United States Marine Corps as an Aircraft
Firefighting and Crash Rescue Specialist. He loves capturing emotion in
photographs, and adding artistic touches to images.
Other Fun Facts:
They have 2 children, 8 and 7.
While Samantha was away from the head table at their wedding, Cedric had
the Best Man send the photographer home because he was tired of taking
pictures.
They have a German Shepherd named Max
